Position Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer you will work within an agile team to develop and deploy applications and features that are used in customer-facing SaaS solutions for supply chain risk management. You will be using the latest in cloud-native technologies to deliver secure, highly-available solutions enabling our clients to reduce the volatility in their supply chain operations and increase the value of their businesses.
To build our services, we use a wide range of technologies, such as:
- Python
- Django
- Celery
- React/Redux
- PostgreSQL
- Docker
- AWS
Responsibilities:
- As a Devops Engineer you will collaborate in a hands-on role with product managers, software developers, and business leaders to design and implement tools, processes, and systems to increase software velocity, product quality, and uptime. You will be using the latest in cloud-native technologies to deliver innovative solutions enabling Everstream clients to reduce the volatility in their supply chain operations and increase the value of their businesses.
Tech stack:
Tech stack for the project includes: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, AWS, Serverless technologies, Terraform, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Python, Gitlab.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Total Experience: 7+
- 5+ years of experience as a devops engineer with a focus on Kubernetes
- Experience in advanced Kubernetes patterns (blue/green updates, stateful workloads, writing custom controllers) in order to contribute to this existing DevOp and cloud architecture
- Experience designing, implementing, supporting and upgrading Kubernetes clusters
- Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes, using tools like Helm, Kustomize,or equivalent
- Experience with Docker & Containers
- Experience working on production level services on AWS
- Experience with monitoring / metrics with Prometheus + Grafana
- On-call responsibilities
Nice to have:
- AWS certification
- Prior experience building internal platform engineering tools with Python or Go
- GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) experience
